- The system should be extremely malleable, not making prior assumptions as the structure or bins that files will fall into. This just restricts the natural, organic development of structure from within, as outline notes piece together local groups of zettels and those are pieced together as needed. Note that this isn’t saying the system itself should be without form or recommended practices; this formlessness is referring to the actual structure of note topics themselves.
